Clash Royale Update (10/20): Balance Changes Are Live – Giant and Poison Spell Nerfed
FUENTE Y CREDITO
Clash Royale Update are now live. Giant is getting another nerf. His hit points have been decreased by further 5%. It appears the last nerf wasn’t enough. However, will it bring it down enough to make it normally easy to counter it? We hope so. The other highlight of the day is the Poison nerf which comes as a surprise. Elixir cost is increased to 6 (from 5). Its gain is increased to 8 (from 7). Furthermore, lifetime increased by 10sec. Here are the Clash Royale Update details.
Clash Royale Update changelog
“The way we approach card balance in Clash Royale is a combination of playtesting and looking at the stats – in particular, card use rates and win rates. You can expect monthly balance changes to keep gameplay fine tuned and as fun as possible.
In this round of balance changes we’re taking a look at a popular combo: Giant + Poison (aka, “Goison”), making a significant change to the Elixir Collector and more!”
The change to Giant is relatively small because the idea is to reduce the strength of Giant + Poison. But not remove it as a viable combo. Poison Spell now loses its ability to control an area for 10 seconds. Increasing the Elixir cost by 1 will make it a bigger risk to play. Also, it will give it more opportunity to counterplay against it.
The Log’s damage is increased by 9%. Skeleton Army’s Elixir cost is decreased to 3 (from 4). Skeleton count is decreased to 16 (from 21). Their level is also increased by 5.
There’s also a bug fix regarding the Ice Golem. Upon dying, Ice Golem will now also hurt flying troops. Most players are really optimistic about the Log buff. However, some think this could make it really OP. Let us know your thoughts about it in the comments.
